We offer a 'nine night' holiday which will allow you to walk from Eastbourne to Winchester (or the other way) at a comfortable average of 12 miles per day – with a couple of shorter days in the middle.

There’s also a 'seven night' option starting or finishing in Buriton

As leaders the Annual South Downs Way Walk ...we know it pretty well

So we’ve personally selected high quality B & B’s which offer ensuite

or non-shared, private facilities.

(We don't like queuing for the bathroom in the morning)

and they're all within an easy stroll of a recommended pub or restaurant

for an evening meal - several of which have special offers for Footprints

Baggage transfers are, of course, included in all our holidays

as are the cloth trail badges (available only from Footprints),

a copy of the 192 page Trailblazer Route Guide, hand-drawn village maps

and certicicates to prove you did it !

There's nothing worse than long, off-trail road walks at the end of the day,

so we include taxis where appropriate

And finally, something no other company can ever offer …

... we’ll meet you personally on the middle night of your holiday here in Steyning

and buy you a drink

It isn't all walking, of course

Your Holiday

A 7 night holiday would allow you to walk from Eastbourne to Buriton

along the full 80 miles of the ‘original’ trail.

To comfortably continue the extension into Winchester requires 9 nights.

The options we offer and prices for March to October 2010 are as follows:-

7 NTS - from* £ 495.00 PER PERSON

9 NTS - from* £ 585.00 PER PERSON

These prices are based upon two sharing a double or twin room and include baggage transfers every day to your next B & B.

(* almost all our holidays are sold at these prices; very occasionally we have to pay a small premium for some of the accommodation)

Payment will be required by credit card and we will make a charge of £5 per person to help offset card fees at the time of booking.

Our selected B & B's are in the following towns and villages :

Eastbourne, Alfriston, Lewes (for A27 crossing), Pyecombe, Steyning, Houghton/Amberley, Midhurst (for Cocking Gap), Clanfield (for Q.E.park), Exton & Winchester.
